It's a little more expensive than the other two in one prams but it's definitely worth the investment because the quality and functionality are top of the line.
This stroller comes with a single-pull safety harness that makes it easy to secure your child into the seat. It also has a sun canopy that can be removed with peek-a-boo and XXL panels. It has a convenient tray for parents to store drinks, snacks and phones. The telescopic handlebar adjusts to suit the height of parents and the brake is easily accessible, making it safe for children to operate.
Our mom tester Sophie from London used this stroller with two daughters aged 5 and 10 months. She pushed it over bumpy hilly ground and cobbled roads and found the stroller to be extremely smooth and easy to maneuver. During our testing, we found the Roo+ to maneuver well for a stroller that doubles as a stroller. It's able to navigate most terrains with ease, although it isn't able to navigate over muddy areas and gravel. It can be difficult to steer up and over 1-inch curbs. This stroller is not recommended for use on stairs or off-road. However, its suspension system can assist to minimize bumps.
While the Roo+ has a large under-seat storage container however, it's hard to access without removing infant car seats. This is a problem that's common with twin frame strollers. However, Joovy offers a separate under-seat baby carrier bag that can assist with this issue.
In contrast to other top-scoring models the Roo+ does not have a self standing fold or cup holders. This is a small sacrifice to make for its car seat compatibility and storage capabilities however we'd prefer to have a bit more flexibility from our strollers. The stroller's versatility in seating arrangement is a major plus. Parents can mount their infant car seats either the opposite direction or in the same direction, depending on their preferences.
5. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
Delta Children LX Side by Side scored high for its weight and fold size. It's the best value double umbrella stroller we've seen in our review. It also scores well for maneuverability, a key attribute for parents looking for an umbrella stroller that can fit in smaller spaces. The Delta is a bare-bones product that lacks some features that other strollers in our testing include, such as the deep recline and large storage basket. It is a great option for families on a tight budget and for those who require an additional stroller for short-term use, such as going to the zoo for a day.
The LX Side by Side is a light stroller that is easy to turn and push. Its short frame, rotating wheels in the front and padded shoulder pads provide smooth riding. It is comfortable for passengers with a multi-position reclining seat and cup holder for the parent.
It also comes with a large European-style canopy which provides shade from the sun and some protection from light winds. It also comes with two storage bags, a five-point safety harness and two storage bags.
The Delta took less than three minutes to put together which is the quickest time of our test group. The manual is standard and doesn't require any tools for assembly. It is among our lighter products and it folds flat making it easy to lift and carry.
